 We are secretaries, students, executives,
librarians, teachers, business owners, attorneys, programmers, researchers, soldiers, all
different types of different people.We are single, divorced, married, widowed and still
looking.
We enjoy hiking, baseball, eating ice cream, arts, crafts, and just hanging out. (Some
of us also watch football on Sundays)
We all feel called by God to be here. Not just for ourselves, but for those around us.
Some people feel an emptiness, or void in their lives. Some try to fill that emptiness
with different things, like money, power, possessions, alcohol, or drugs.
We have found that God can fill the void and make you complete. He can make a
difference that lasts, not just for a lifetime, but for an eternity.
About 2000 years ago, Jesus came into the world to help us out and show us the way. He
urged us to follow Him and to be like Him. Jesus told us to treat others as we would want
them to treat us. Jesus spent time with all types of people, despite their flaws. In fact,
He came for those with flaws and, indeed, He died for them. We all have flaws, not one of
us is perfect, Jesus knows that and helps us to be the person He knows we can be.
